Comprehensive Plan Update

The City of Alburnett is in the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan to guide growth through 2045.

This plan establishes priorities related to development, infrastructure, and community needs.

Community Input

The City is currently gathering public input. Residents are invited to complete a short survey (approximately 3 minutes) to share their feedback. Survey closes Feburary 13, 2026.

Next Steps

Survey responses will be reviewed by the City’s Steering Committee and used in the development of the draft Comprehensive Plan, which will be presented during future public hearings.

Notice to Bidders

The City of Alburnett is accepting quotes for land clearing along sewer main.

Quotes need to be received by 5:00 pm on Monday, February 9, 2026, by the City of Alburnett, PO Box 326, Alburnett, IA 52202 or emailed to cityclerk@alburnettia.org. More information is available by contacting City Hall.
