  • SAVE THE DATE - Alburnett Children's Benefit Day will be on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  Parade starting at 11 am. Other activities include: Music all day -  Kids games with prizes - Human Billiards - Human Hungry Hippo - Chicken Chase - Face Painting - Watermelon Eating Contest - Bingo - Craft Vendors - Food Vendors Kickball Tournament - Horseshoe Tournament - Bag Tournament - Silent Auction - Raffle.   • The City of Alburnett Fireworks and Explosives Ordinance is as follows:

    SECTION 3-23-2 FIREWORKS AND EXPLOSIVES.  It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any fireworks, explode any firecracker, or any device containing powder or other explosives within the City.  The City Council may by resolution suspend the operation of this section in whole or in part on the Fourth day of July, or any other day; provided further, that the City Council may grant permits for discharging fireworks for public displays.  No permit shall be granted hereunder unless the operator or sponsoring organization has filed with the City evidence of insurance in the following amounts.

    (1)    Personal Injury:       $250,000.00 per person

    (2)    Property Damage:  $50,000.00

    (3)    Total Exposure:        $1,000,000.00

  • Moothart Street Reconstruction Project - Tentative start date of April 3, 2017. City water main shut down on Main Ave from Howard St to the School on April 5th starting at 8:30 am. - Click Here for more information.

  • Notice Regarding Door-to-Door Solicitors: All peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants in the City of Alburnett must obtain a permit. If someone comes to your door, be sure to ask if they have a permit. If you have questions, please contact City Hall. For further information, see the City of Alburnett Ordinances, Title III Community Protection, Chapter 37 Licensing and Regulating Peddlers.
