News & Announcements

  • New water, sanitary sewer and storm water rates go into effect on July 1, 2016. The base rate for water will be $38.38 and $3.79 per 1,000 gallons over the base of 1000 gallons. This represents a 1% cost increase. The base rate for sanitary sewer will be $16.32 and $2.81 per 1,000 over the base of 1000 gallons. This represents a 2% cost increase. Storm water utility rates will be a $1 per month increase. A fee of $2.50 per month will be charged to each utility account.

  • Notice Regarding Door-to-Door Solicitors: All peddlers, solicitors and transient merchants in the City of Alburnett must obtain a permit. If someone comes to your door, be sure to ask if they have a permit. If you have questions, please contact City Hall. For further information, see the City of Alburnett Ordinances, Title III Community Protection, Chapter 37 Licensing and Regulating Peddlers.
